The winner will be selected once the competition has closed, by a panel made up of a representative from Wickes, AEG and an independent judge. The winner will be contacted via telephone and/or email within 28 days of the Competition closing with details of how the prize will be received.

By entering this competition (“Competition”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”).

Wickes Building Supplies Limited of Vision House, 19 Colonial Way, Watford, WD24 4JL and Electrolux plc t/as AEG of Addington Way, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU4 9QQ, are together the promoters of this Competition (“Promoters”).

The Promoters reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the prize (awarding a prize of similar nature/equivalent value or cash value of the prize)), or in the event of circumstances beyond its control. Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible. 

The Competition will run from 7/09/2026 to 23:59 on 27/09/2026 (“Promotion Period”).

How to participate

To enter this Competition, you must use one of the entry routes listed below to tell us in no more than 250 words about your dream kitchen renovation, including why you need one and what you would like in your dream kitchen. You will need to include photos of your existing kitchen.

Only one entry per account is permitted. Entries received after the deadline will not be valid.

1. X: Go through the link in the @Wickes post, where you will be directed to a co-branded entry form page (posted by AEG).
2. Instagram: Go through the link in @Wickes bio where you will be directed to a co-branded entry form page (posted by AEG).
3. Instagram & Facebook stories: Go through the clickable link in @Wickes story where you will be directed to a co-branded entry form page (posted by AEG).
4. Facebook: Go through the link in the @Wickes feed post which will be within the caption, where you will be directed to a co-branded entry form page (posted by AEG).

Eligibility 

Wickes and AEG employees and their relatives are excluded from entering the Competition.

Only those persons who are residents and homeowners in the UK and aged 18 or over are eligible to enter this Competition. Any entry from a person under the age of 18 will be disqualified.

The Prize 

A chance to win a Wickes Kitchen, with AEG appliances worth up to £25,000 in total. The prize includes £10,000 worth of AEG appliances and a £15,000 Wickes gift card to spend on the Wickes kitchen, including installation.

The prize is as stated and is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part. For the avoidance of doubt, should any flooring/tiling/paint/splashbacks be required to finish the kitchen project, they should be purchased from Wickes.

Any specialist work required to complete the project will not be included in the prize and will be subject to a separate contract between the winner and their installer. Specialist works include but are not limited to plastering, installing under unit lighting, boxing in pipes and re-locating water mains. Insofar as is permitted by law. The Promoters will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of specialist installer work.

Winner Announcement 

The winner will be selected by a panel made up of a representative from each of the Promoters and an independent judge, once the Competition has closed.

The judges will be considering the following criteria when reviewing the entries:

• a great transformation project with no structural work involved;
• why a transformation would make a difference;
• the features the winner wants to achieve.

The judging will be based on the written submission and will follow with a telephone interview, which will be held with each shortlisted entrant.

Prior to the winner being selected, three applicants will be shortlisted and shall be contacted via telephone to ensure they are aware.

The winner will then be contacted via telephone and/or email by 23rd October 2026 with details of how/when the prize will be received. 

The Promoters must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoters will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries, to anyone who requests such information within one month after the closing date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoters at the address noted above. In such circumstances, the Promoters must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Claiming the prize 

The winner will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize within seven (7) days of having been notified, with the date on which acceptance is confirmed being the ‘Acceptance Date’. The installation must begin within 12 months of the Acceptance Date. The winner should therefore seek to arrange and confirm the design and installation dates as soon as possible to avoid losing eligibility. For the avoidance of doubt, any delays caused by Wickes or AEG will be excluded from the allotted 12-month window to begin installation. The estimated timeframe from design to installation is 3 months, though this is subject to change based on customer choice and installer availability.

The winner will be contacted by a local Wickes store to set up a home visit with their very own Design Consultant to measure the existing space and start discussing ideas for the new kitchen. Following the home visit, the winner will be invited into the store to meet with the Design Consultant, review various options for the kitchen, including doors, worktops, sinks, taps and appliances and see a 3D visual of the new space. This design can be amended as needed during the meeting with the Design Consultant. 

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.

Intellectual Property Rights

The winner and their kitchen will be filmed and photographed throughout the kitchen project, which includes the journey from design to installation. All content will be eligible for use in marketing materials including but not limited to print, social media channels and websites of the Promoters.

By submitting your Competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:

1. assign the Promoters all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee;
2. grant the Promoters a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purpose; and
3. waive all moral rights, in and to your Competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

Data Protection and Publicity 

AEG will collect and process participants’ personal information and it will be shared with Wickes and Wickes’s agents, affiliates and, if applicable, any third-party prize provider (including those outside the UK). Information provided by participants will only be used for the purpose of conducting this Competition (including for prizes to be delivered) and other purposes as may be specified at the time of entry or on promotional materials. General

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the participants. No correspondence will be entered into.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoters may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.

The Promoters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Competition except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
